Effixis is a data science consulting boutique. Founded back in 2017 on the shores of Lake Geneva in Lausanne, we opened offices in Brussels earlier this year. We support financial institutions, private companies, and public organizations in their data innovation projects through state-of-the-art solutions.

At Effixis, we are an international team of data scientists, mathematicians, software engineers, and business developers bringing innovative AI & data solutions to the market. To further increase our presence and brand image online, in Switzerland and Belgium, we are looking for an intern in our Marketing & Sales division. In our team, you’ll have the opportunity to make your voice heard, suggest ideas, let your imagination run wild, own your work, and work on impactful initiatives from start to end.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Sales & Marketing department. By working closely with our team of business developers you’ll be exposed to their real-world marketing & sales challenges.

On the Marketing side, you’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in all stages of our marketing campaigns. You‘ll create visuals and engaging digital content for our social networks and website. You‘ll create advertising material for online marketing and networking events. You’ll also get the chance to support the sales team in their daily activities. Lead research: work on the existing database of clients, generate and qualify new leads while keeping our CRM up to date, and analyze market trends. You’ll also have the opportunity to help with the development of targeted sales campaigns, newsletter writing, and use case definition, plus help with product management at Effixis.

This internship will help you acquire marketing & sales skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies and sales approaches. Ultimately, you’ll gain broad experience and ‘ll be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French or Dutch
• Enrolled in a BSc or MSc program in PR, business engineering, or similar
• Not afraid of taking initiatives and are eager to learn
• Excellent written communication skills
• Organized and have an eye for details
• Knowledge of email marketing tools and social media tools is a plus
• Interested in tech topics
